What a Day!
First it was close to 90 degrees out. The Orioles come back to beat the Rangers 8-5. The Washington Capitals force a Game 7 by beating the Rangers 5-3. And Rounds 3-7 of the NFL were on. A few Maryland players were drafted, which was nice and the Skins had a few picks to help out the team. Even though they didn’t draft anyone on the offensive line I think I like all their picks in terms of what positions they took other than drafting a Wide Receiver. Was he really the best person available on their draft board? I’m sure they could have gone for a offensive tackle or guard at that point.
Other than that few interesting links for reading entertainment …
- A DVR without a monthly fee!!!! I’ve been wondering when they would make something like this. Though it only works for over-the-air stations that’s still pretty good. At least it’s something I would consider getting my parents so they don’t have to use their oddly configured VCR.
- The customer isn’t always right! I just thought these were funny.
- Swine Flu, it’s the other white meat.
Yeah, yeah, yeah I know pandemic. I really just wonder if this is going to revitalize the phrase: “I just don’t dig on swine” from Pulp Fiction. (Which, looking up the quote, I always thought it was “I just don’t dine on swine” not “dig on swine” – weird)
