The New York Jets trade with the Cleveland Browns to move up to the 5th spot to select Mark Sanchez. Go J-E-T-S!!! They just help prevented the Redskins from stupidly trading up to draft Sanchez.
Hopefully the Skins don’t screw up their pick now. On a side note, Darrius Heyward-Bey was the first wide receiver off the board! Amazingly before Michael Crabtree. Too bad it’s with the Oakland Raiders.
And with the 13th pick, the Washington Redskins pick Brian Orakpo, DE from Texas!
