Another Year, Another Retreat …
We just got back from our church retreat to Messiah College in Grantham, PA. It was a good time as we were doing a Walk Thru the Bible seminar on The New Testament and we got to hang out with a few church friends. There were a ton of kids from the city who typically are unable to leave the confines of the city and sometimes even their family. The weather was good and surprisingly the food was really good. Probably the only bad part was that a friend of ours has been extremely ill and wasn’t able to make it. That and I accidentally took the pastoral candidate’s meal card and room key.
Yeah, that was a big oooops. Sharka even made an appearance at the retreat.
Here are some quotes from the retreat:

Alright…in my defense, my “quote” is misquoted and slightly out of context.
What I said was “Wait wait wait, hold on. What ya’ll just did was give an applause, that is not clapping…” all in the sense of with worship singing.
In context. Out of context. Quoted. Misquoted. It’s still great. =)
