I must be a racist …
Hillary was making remarks about her current prolonged battle for the Democratic nomination and said the following:
Apparently, her aides quickly tried to say that RFK was still in the running for the bid in June as well as her hubby Bill. Now when I read the RFK quote that definitely wasn’t what I was thinking. One could imagine the first word that came out of my mouth.
That leaves me to believe I’m a racist because it just sounded like she was calling for “some action” to happen so that her nomination would be guaranteed. If you get my drift. This thought coming after reading an article a few days ago about how race did play an issue in the West Virginia primary (Unfortunately, I can’t find the original article but the quote from The New York Times gives the same idea). Sometimes one has to think about the real reasons why people say certain things. Just planting seeds. Yep, seeds. Didn’t mean that. No, not at all. Just seeds.Personally, I just hope it never comes to that. Let the people vote! (Well unless of course they go against their own party’s convention rules in trying to make a few bucks *cough* Florida and Michigan *cough*)
