Yesterday, Nowk came over for dinner with Cluck-U in
hand. Those are the best wings
around. Hmmmmmmm Cluck-U. After dinner we talked, we laughed, we
cried, we shared a moment. OK, we
really just ate chicken wings, watched the O’s game and caught up on the
times.Coming back from tonight’s ministry team meeting my cars
odometer hit 91919 miles.
Sweeeeet. It’s always
encouraging coming back from these meetings because of how everyone there just
wants to seek God’s will and make sure the decisions that are made continue to
glorify Him.

Cluck-U? That’s all it takes to get an invite over? Of course, with gas prices as they are, I’m not sure it’s worth watching the O’s game. Sounds like a good meeting. Hopefully it wasn’t too far for you to drive … otherwise, you may want to start teleconferencing!
Gas prices are all relative. Sure I don’t like that Big Oil is making these huge profits but consider the cost of gasoline around the world, the U.S. has it sooooo good. I still remember this article about this guy who would drive around the Beltway because he could. But when gas prices hit the mid-$2 range he sold his car because he couldn’t keep up with the payments. What a waste. The meeting was in Rockville so not too far from the house.
