What a Tease …
Last night the Orioles miraculously come back to beat the Boston Red Sox 11-10 when originally down 1-10. They say it was the largest comeback in Orioles history. Yeah! Go O’s! Then what do they do today? Leading 5-1 going into the 9th they blow the lead in the top of the inning and later lose 5-6 in 11. ugh.
Tom Brokaw is doing some series about those who live on Route 50. He’s traveling from Eastern Maryland all the way to California and making shorts about interesting Americans. At mile 147 the interesting American was Michelle Rhee, Chancellor of DC’s public schools. Not bad since it shows she’s making a difference and helping the kids learn. Though it funny reading some of the comments people make about her.
