Believe in Change …
When I hear that statement I think of the Simpsons episode where Marge is telling a story to the kids who are in the library about how she has a Sacagawea dollar coin that can be exchanged at a bank for a real dollar. Hilarious.
- As you know Obama signed into law the Credit Card Industry Reform Bill. Here’s another example of how that will “help” people in the future.
- Also this week, the Big O unveiled some new auto industry fuel standards. Most snippits will show that he wants a 35.5 mpg minimun for vehicles. Pretty good. Not great, but a decent start right? Heck, even the auto industry was behind it. Yeah for Big O! But when you look at the fine print, the proposal really does nothing. Yep, that’s some Washington, political change for ya. If anything some high schoolers figured this out a few years ago. GM probably should have hired them, maybe then they could have avoided bankrupcy.
- I wonder if they’ll be a Mac commercial about this? They have stepped up the ones about viruses but nothing about open vulnerabilities. Oooops, guess one of the “genuises” are still working on the fix.
- Good for the Smithsonian. The first movie wasn’t bad. Not sure if this one will be better because most sequals aren’t (unlike Empire). Probably a rental.
- For those interested in a Snuggie, here’s a video review on them.
- Guess there really is a direct link to God’s earthly representative…
