I Was Sorta Wondering About It …
Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed that the Express newspaper (a free publication from The Washington Post) started to include coverage of the Nationals spring training but pretty much nothing on the Orioles.
Then while looking at the online version of the Post I noticed that the link for the Orioles was gone. I guess this blog pretty much sums it up. With the downturn of the economy, online news coverage, it looks like print edition newspapers are going under. Just a few weeks ago the Rocky Mountain News said they were closing shop. It’s sorta sad since this was the paper I would read when I used to visit Chewy in Colorado. I wonder how long it’ll take for the majority of newspapers to go under.
