It’s, Like, Snowing …
It took some convincing, but I got Chewy to stay home today. I on the other hand am a pushover for “Unscheduled Leave” even when I’ve got a ton of work and deadlines at the end of the week. pfff, whatever …
Even though they only called for a 2 hour delay it was clear that the second part of the snow storm was just ramping up earlier this morning. Road crews were having a hard time keeping up and all the roads were a mess. I heard a ton of complaints about the 2 hour delay decision because of kids not being in school, bad commutes, etc, etc. But when you think about it, it makes more fiscal sense for the big cheese to call a 2 hour delay because they spend less money this way in terms of not giving out free leave to everyone. Oh well, it’s snowing!!!
Doesn’t look like our area is going to get that 6-10″ of snow that they predicted. So far I think there is at least 3-5″ out there. Did I mention it’s snowing?
