I Am Reaching For the Kool-Aid …
That 30-minute commercial by Obama was truly persuasive. It made me realize how much of a fool that I’ve been. These are my new found reasons for making my change:
- It really is about the middle class. Forget the principals of macroeconomics and the global community (even beyond the G8) I need to be thinking about myself. It’s what a big government can do for me. It’s my money, my country and the current world issues are meaningless to me because they don’t give me anything. It’s all about me. Only one candidate is campaigning on this idea. And you know who it is. Obama. That’s who.
- The story about the family who didn’t have enough money to pay their bills or buy food. That was so touching. I was in tears! We need a leader that is gonna help these people out.; these people with stainless steel side-by-side refrigerator/freezer units, granite countertops, kitchen islands and spend $25 to go out to eat instead of cooking. OMG, THESE PEOPLE NEED HELP!!!!!
- Obama is going to give a tax credit to those who create jobs in the U.S. like when a new Walmart or McDonalds opens up. He’s gonna tax those companies who ship jobs out of the country to keep their profits up and the cost of their goods lower for consumers. That’s exactly what we want! We want low paying, unskilled jobs and higher costing consumer goods. That’s why we invest in education.
- Our children are growing up to be idiots because our school systems are
not spending enough per child. We all know that increasing spending
per child is the only way to make them want to learn. They do say
“just throw more money at a problem and the problem goes away”. We
thank you D.C. public school system for showing us the light before
Chancellor Rhee got hired. That lady is ruining everything for each
and every D.C. school teacher. - The government is doing wonders with all their programs for improving school aptitude testing, welfare, FEMA, HUD, etc. It only makes sense to let the government take control of health care. Airport security was taken over by the government and look how much safer our planes are!
- If I don’t vote for him, I’ll be labeled a racist. Obama is young and hip. You see how he uses the fist handshake with people. He’s intouch with me.
- Plus, Chewy found out she went to High School with Obama’s kid sister’s husband. I’m practically related to Obama now.
