No longer the carefree days of my youth …
I decided to try drinking coffee instead of my beloved Coca-Cola or Mountain Dew beverages in the morning. Coffee does have some beneficial health benefits. Besides that, a game of my teenage years is coming out with a sequel, a sequel based in Washington, D.C.! Vaultboy lives!!! Fallout 3 released on October 28th.
They released the latest NCAA Football rankings and the Terps got ranked 25th in both the AP and Coaches polls. The first time they’ve been ranked since 2006.

Waiting around for a doctors appointment is no fun when all you can really do is sit in a chair, eat, drink and get fat. I think I’ve gained a few pounds after trying to stay off my foot. Oh well, here are some links that I found entertaining. (This prevents me from answering work emails that I get on my Blackberry on my day off)
- TACO! For those not watching the World Series (not like I am), a base was stolen in the opening game.
- Food allergies are on the rise or is it?
I remember my parents would just tell me to suck it up. Be a MAN! That’s why they keep giving us food that contains apples, pears, or peaches. (I’m just kidding about my parents, they never did that except for wanting me to eat fu ga. Though they still give us things that I’m allergic to such as apples, pears and peaches
)
- 50 Mbps downstream and 10Mbps upstream! Nice … $140 a month? Not so nice!
- Ditka for President! Da Bears!
- Youngest children love the limelight and are used to sitting in it.
They are charming, creative, have a good sense of humor and manipulate
others when they want to get their way. I think I have a good sense of humor. The rest, not so much. - FINALLY! Someone puts some blame on the homeowners!
- If you’re looking to buy a house, a co-worker told me about this website. Pretty nice IMO.

Ow
Can you tell which ankle is swollen?I ended up rolling over my ankle and it felt like my ankle dislodged itself from the rest of my leg.
When I was house shopping my mom did say to not buy a house with a lot of steps. Boy was she right. Arrrrrg!!!! Why don’t I listen to my mom more often!
On a brighter, funnier note, rumor has it that Pallin will be on SNL this weekend. Yeah, you betcha!

EXTREME COLUMBUS DAY RANDOMNESS!!!
- What we won’t hear from either of the Presidential candidates.
- What downturn in the economy? To me it looks like people have money to spend.
- Maybe voting for Obama won’t be so bad …
- At least Mr. T still has a job.
-
Randomness …
- Why do the Japanese always get the cool stuff?
- What you didn’t hear during the last Presidential debate. Obvious it would be political death to also blame the people for their own mistakes. No one likes to be criticized or be told they’re part of the reason for what the world is going through.
- I had a brilliant idea yesterday. With the U.S. and the rest of the world in a global crisis we should forgo this Presidential election and allow Bush to have a third term ala FDR during WWII. What influence will a lame duck administration have on the issue. We and the rest of the world will have to suffer moreso in the next six to ten months as the next administration gets situated. It’s the only thing that makes sense. We should start the “Bush for 4 More Years” slogan soon.
