- Know your civil rights. But also determine how far you’re willing to go when you have to deal with the ignorance of others. (It really would have been easier to just show the receipt.)
- Google maybe taking over the world but at least they release some really cool stuff.

Yeah, the TigerDirect customer sounds like a jerk. Was he just too lazy or that difficult to pull out the receipt?
Well, part of it is that he knows his rights. He didn’t need to comply because it essentially is harassment on the stores part. The follow-up to the story is that upper management apologized to the customer after hearing about the fuss.
