• Happy Birthday to the Compact Disc.  I find it fascinating that they always try and attribute the downfall of the music CD because of file sharing / illegal downloads.  Bah.  Get real.  I doubt that the large percentage of people who used to buy CDs started to download music illegally.  If anything these are the same folk who used to copy CDs in the late 90′s and early 2000′s.  Personally, if you look at the music industry over the past 10 years a huge portion of the music thats been released has been crap.  Put something good out music industry and then maybe people would buy it.
