It’s interesting that a Jesuit school such as Georgetown would try and curb evangelism on campus. Reading the article I don’t buy it’s arguments of religious acceptance and tolerance. It’s a Jesuit school! It’s like sending a non-Christian kid to a Catholic elementary school. There’s an understanding that it would be a God centered place of education. (No side priest jokes please
) I find it weird and unfortunately helps solidifies my thoughts on the downward spiral of this country at least in terms of falling away from it’s original Christian viewpoints, morality and beliefs. Then again, the flip side could be that there’s so much evangelism from other non-Christian religions that the school feels the need to do such a thing. That again would solidify my thoughts but makes the argument more interesting.
stooopid door … as it always works out, the last door (of 8) that I’m trying to replace is in no way a standard size door!
Standard width but my replacement door is half an inch longer and the door knob is no where near it should be at. Oh well, it’s already taken me a year to almost finish this project up what’s a few more days … weeks … ok maybe months.
(realistically all I need to do is cut that extra half-inch off and do another lock cutout in the door jab. The half-inch should be easy but the lock cutout I’m thinking could be some trouble which if doubled would make Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.)

In the article: “It’s not about the conversation being uncomfortable, it’s about tearing down another person’s church in order to show how superior yours is,” he [John Borelli, special assistant for interreligious initiatives in the Georgetown president's office] said.
If that’s the case it sure doesn’t jive with what the Pope’s recent announcement about the R.C. church being *the* true church.
