What you could have been for Halloween.
This has got to be the Ultimate Transformer costume.
Not Sharka! The Washington Post reports that the seafood population could be depleted by 2048.
I’ve got two initial feelings about this:
1. I have an
urge to eat massive amounts of shrimp, scallops, fish, crabs and an assortment
of other seafood that most Chinese people eat.To quote Bubba Gump:
Anyway, like I was sayin’, shrimp is the fruit of the sea.
You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh,
shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried.
There’s pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp
soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp
sandwich. That- that’s about it.2. Who cares?
There’s enough to get us by for a good decade. Eventually, things will work itself out and they’ll be enough for
everyone to share. Nothing is broken
and it’s only propaganda to scare you.
If your blood is starting to boil these were some of the same arguments
used by the Democrats when the Republicans wanted to propose fixes to Social Security based upon the status report
in 2005. In 2018, SS would have to
start borrowing against itself because there would not be enough money flow into
the system with too many payments out.
Then in 2041 Social Security would totally be bankrupt leaving nothing
for the current generation, the previous generation or the future generation. Where do you belong? Strong feels about one thing or some things
or nothing at all? Or living in a box
where we only care for the decisions that we think affect us? Remember that every decision we make has a
ripple effect not just on us but those around us.Have you registered to vote?
