An interesting statistic about the things we worry about (From
Pastor Michaels of Church In the City and I have no other source to actually back
this up but even still its interesting.)40% of the things we worry about never happen
30% of the things we worry about we have no control over the
outcome
22% of the things we worry about are mostly considered
“little” things in lifeTherefore, 92% of the things we worry about really are of no
consequence. So why do we worry so much?
Is it possible to do what Paul says in Philippians and lift the remaining 8% up to
God? Or are we at a point where we just
need to worry and leave God out of it?Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And
the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
