I can see why the Nationals aren’t on TV …
I got a chance to watch a few innings last night of the O’s
vs Nats game before Bible study. Then
after getting back from Spy Museum, I’m watching inning the game on TV. Man these announcers suck! The cameraman sucks! Patterson steals second and the only camera
angle they have is of home and first.
Lopez lays a bunt with Orioles taking second and third and the cameraman
zoom onto the Nats player fielding the bunt.
Chewy says I should turn off the sound and listen to the game on the
radio to hear the better Orioles announcers.
That’s not a bad idea.As for the Spy Museum, I can at least say it’s off our list
of things to do. It was somewhat
boring. Nothing really exciting except
for a little blurb about how Alias was so popular that the CIA got Jennifer Garner to
do a recruiting promo for them. Yeah,
exciting. Oh yeah, the gift store had
this ’20 Questions’ toy and it was so wrong on what I was thinking. Of course it was Transformers and it
thought minidisk player. I’ve outsmarted
technology once again! Where’s Big Blue
and my chessboard?

i used to watch canucks hockey like that, i liked the radio commentary better. sometimes they’d be out of sync by a couple seconds, which would make it a little interesting
Maybe it also has to do with their level of play as well …
My co-worker was telling me how he was watching the Phoenix Suns vs LA Clippers on TV while listening to it on Sirius. Problem was Sirius was a few seconds behind. His geekness showed up and he Tivo’d the game with the same delay and everything was in sync.
The O’s suck as well. But at least the gNats could get some decent announcers for their games. Maybe thats the real reason why Comcast won’t show them on TV. =)
